Alisha Charity
Welcome to our website! We are so excited to share everything going on at Alisha with you. But first, let us introduce what Alisha is about. We are a charity community with people and children as our primary focus. We believe that every human being deserves to enjoy the basic needs of life, including food, clothing, housing and health facilities.
Our purpose is to build sustainable food bank systems in developing countries so that food
boxes can be prepared monthly and delivered to the needy. The individuals will
then be free from worries about basic needs, in order to engage in programs to
become (financially) self-sufficient again. To this end, our packages contain nutrients,
but may as well contain clothing, medicine, hygienic items, and other items.
By collaborating with local entities and people, we are able to identify the people in need, and provide them with food boxes for their basic needs. The funds are send to the country itself, which is then used to buy from local farmers and store owners. This way we are also helping the local community and economy while empowering the individual families in their growth towards self-sufficientcy.
